Illusionist

il·lu·sion·ist (ĭ-lū'zhə-nĭst)- noun. A philosopher, an adherent of the doctrine of illusionism, an artist whose work is marked by illusionism, a magician or ventriloquist, a mage, one who creates illusions.

Those who walk under the skills of illusionist can be one of many things depending on the world in which the walk. Illusionist can means someone who predicts the future
forecaster, predictor, prognosticator, soothsayer — someone who makes predictions of the future (usually on the basis of special knowledge, precog., empathetic, etc.), or it can mean idealist, dreamer. Most often in role-playing it means someone who can layer illusions, waking dreams that others believe to be real. These, when well done, can be seen, felt, smelled, tasted, and can, if you truly believe them, or if the power behind the illusion is great enough, actually hurt/harm those caught up in them.

In Hollow: illusionists are mages who specialize in, of course, illusions. Many people believe things that aren't real cant hurt you, but with the aid of magic, all a being simply has to do is believe the illusion is real to be harmed.
